KEKOVA, which is internationally famous, keeps very rich and attractive natural, historical, cultural, sportive and artistic features together.<br \/>\n2. The KEKOVA project has a qualified and sufficient current base with respect to the main subjects such as recognition, popularity, publication base, www bases, excavation, research and guidance.<br \/>\n3. KEKOVA is a project that appeals to almost all of Western Antalya. All of these settlements of Demre, which are covered by the project, will benefit jointly from all outputs, and they will provide a great logistical power to the project while planting and harvesting.<br \/>\n4. Demre ranks first in terms of the tourism capacity in Antalya each year. The attraction advantages of Kekova, Myra and St. Nikolaos provide important tourism input to Demre.<br \/>\n5. The souvenir sales capacity in Demre has reached the quite large amounts. It is available for improvement and customization.<br \/>\n6. It is certain that the natural and cultural characteristics of the fields under the project will create a very effective and qualified tourism and recognition power.<br \/>\n7. Our community living in the rural settlements around KEKOVA can also benefit from the economic results of the project, and the cultural and natural awareness of the local community will be raised.<br \/>\n8. The KEKOVA Project is a cultural tourism design that is sustainable and can be spread throughout the year.<br \/>\n9. The excavations and researches carried out by the scientists of Akdeniz University and other universities constitute an available and effective force in terms of the scientific bases and activities.<br \/>\n10. Myra was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary Cultural List in 2009 under the Ancient Cities of the Lycian Civilization. It is a strong candidate for the permanent list.<br \/>\n11. St. Nicholas was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative Cultural List in 2000. It is a strong candidate for the permanent list.<br \/>\n12. It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative Mixed List in 2000. It is the strongest candidate for the permanent list.<br \/>\n13. The existence of the Lycian Civilizations Museum in the project area provides an important event medium and attraction point.<br \/>\n14. The existence of the Excavation House Complex, infrastructure and other facilities of the Myra and Andriake excavation directorate in the project area will play an important role with respect to the success of the project.<br \/>\n15. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which constitutes the main owner of the activities as specified in 9-14, will also constitute the main patron of this project.<br \/>\n16. The District Governor, Mayor, Headmen and especially the public are eagerly ready to play a major role with respect to realization of such a project.<br \/>\n17.
