Muhammed Hakan Tanrıover was born in 1980 in Gaziantep.
He spent his childhood and youth in Gaziantep, Malatya and Ankara due to the duty of his father and for education. He started to serve in the Ministry of Tourism in 2002. Merging of the Ministries of Culture and Tourism in 2003 has been a milestone in the career of Tanriover. He made efforts towards Development through Cultural Heritage in the provinces of Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Malatya, Siirt, Diyarbakir, Mardin, Hakkari, Van, Konya and Sinop until 2010. He engaged in the revival and restoration activities for Ottoman Artifacts in Aleppo. He made efforts towards the Contribution of Creative Industries to the Economy, Sectoral Definition of Culture, Inventory of Cultural Heritage and Cultural Economy as part of the project Istanbul-Capital of Culture.
He was appointed as the Project Coordinator for the Hagia Sophia Cultural Inventory.
He conducted the Cultural Negotiations with the European Union on behalf of our country for seven years with the motto "Knowledge with no practical application is between right and wrong."
He carried out studies on utilization of Historical Heritage Sites in Better Bankside, London. These studies are currently put into practice in the Historical Prison in Sinop and the Cultural Center of Kendirli in Gaziantep.
He took part in the Organization Committee of the Third National Cultural Council and Sehir-Insan/Bes Sehirli (City-People/Five Urban People), Anadolu Tarih ve Kultur Birligi (Anatolian History and Culture Union) meetings and the preparations for the Cultural Phase of the 9th-10th-11th Development Programs.
He was a negotiator during the activities carried out to include Gaziantep in the Unesco network.
He still takes part in the establishment of the Turkish Institute of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gazi Kultur A.S.
Being a candidate to be a member of parliament from AKP for the 25th and 26th Parliamentary Term, Tanrıover contributed to 16 publications, published "Kultur Icin Memleketim Icin", and held dozens of conferences with the theme "Misak-i Milli Yeniden Turkiye'yi Davet Ediyor" (The National Pact Calls on Turkey Again).
Tanriover, a member of the Executive Board of Anadolu Mektebi, is married and has two children.
